It’s the treasury of archeological findings from the period of Antique, middle Ages and Renaissance. Zadar is the heart of the Croatian history and science, the guardian of its literary and music tradition. The synthesis of culture and beauty makes Zadar and its surroundings the most attractive Croatian region for the tourists all over the world.
In the broade area Zadar is surrounded by 50 tourist places. The region of Zadar offers 1200 kilometers of a very picturesque seaside with 300 isles and islands, many calm and untouched coves, typical landscapes of lakes and waterfalls which could be traced in the inland districts. Every now and then visitors may face small solitary churches which, like ‘’stone guardians’’ speak themselves about the oldest culture of Croatia of the 10th and 11th century.
